In the Kitchen : Making Butter

P1090546

Making butter is a fun and warming activity, perfect for a cold winter’s day and especially while waiting for your homemade bread to bake. Simply Pour some cream (not thickened, no fillers) into a glass jar with a marble and make sure the lid is tightly sealed. Now shake, shake, shake! This can take anywhere between 5 and 15 minutes but slowly the fatty butter will begin to separate from the buttermilk.
